Shouldn't have been an issue because Tristan should have gotten a foul on the 3 point attempt. And the no-call on the play in front of WKU's bench was no worse than the and-one Tramiel didn't get on the layup.

Yep. Double teaming a guy 40 feet away from the basket as he takes an off balance shot, up by 3 points with time expiring... The smart play is to foul. Every time.

A shot like that is practically automatic, like an extra point or an uncontested layup.

Watched the game on cable and really enjoyed UNT come out on top. In front of the Hilltopper home crowd no less. Great game.

While I would generally agree with you on this , the ball was in AJ's hand. He was 10/10 on FTs on the evening while only shooting 4 / 13 from the field , including 0/3 from behind the arc. Sometimes you just have to go with whats working

Exactly. At that point you DON'T want to foul. If you're gonna try and prevent a 3 point shot you do it if the guy looks like he's gonna get a good look.

‘Ol Calvin probably didn’t see the play, so he wouldn’t know that regardless of who else shoulda coulda woulda been fouled but didn’t, justifying this as a makeup call, our guy rode their guy like a mule all the way down to the ground and was lucky as hell there was no call. A much more obvious “no call” than any of the others.

With that said, I’m always glad to see wkyJelly lose to us in their house.
