I have heard rumblings that hall was going to jump ship but it looks official now.

Rivals

Even though they haven't signed with the Miners, it's amazing to see how many 3-star Players they have on their verbal list compared to ours. Wave bye-bye to UTEP! Wait, they already passed us already. Another feather in the cap for Dodge!

That's a small number compared to the number of hopes and dreams that TD has killed for UNT fans since his arrival

Well...don't worry. He either gets it done this next season or he is OUT OF HERE!!!

I honestly thought the kid would think it through and stick with us, if a major program didn't offer. El Paso is the arm pit of Texas. I feel bad for anyone who has to live there. Hall could have stayed close to home, where his family could have watched him play. I guess our new stadium isn't far enough along to help sell our program to recruits. If we were winning would Hall still be headed to UTEP? With our loses mounting, does Dodge still have enough recruiting magic to replace Hall with a QB of equal caliber?

Well, Price probably could sound believable if he said Hall would have a chance to get playing time soon. It might go something like, "Trevor Vittatoe will be playing his last season next year; competition for quarterback will be wide open in 2011; if you redshirt next year, you may be a 4 year starter".

UTEP is really doing well in DFW this year. Looks like they have quite a pipeline into Mesquite, Garland, Dallas, Wylie for verbals... they are getting more players in DFW than I can recall them having done in past years.

DRC

"Yeah I'm a solid commit. I feel like I'm at home. I'm comfortable with the program and what direction they are going in, which is up!" said Hall. "I like the program, I also like the coach staffing."

I guess we aren't going up ? :(

I wish him well and if he was wavering, then I'm glad that he made the move. It's better for him and for us. If his heart was not fully committed to UNT then he would always be wondering what could have happened somewhere else. Bitterness could build fast if things are not going as planned...funny, that sounds familiar...

RV is said to have demanded full competition @ QB in the spring. TD if you are listening put Riley where he belongs @ WR. We have 3 QBs who are tall enough to handle the job, a stud RB, and Tyler Stratford as a possession WR. We don't have to have a short QB who can't throw long, does too many turnovers, and is oft injured @ QB position. He can get more plays in the open at WR and be a lot more durable. Mama want kick you out if you just change his position. It's best for him and for this program.

I was waiting for this

It took longer than I thought, but the board's only had about 15-20 people posting the last month, so what does it really mean?

How about this one - He probably didn't have the grades to get into UNT. Or this one - Maybe he didn't fit in socially?

The only one we (probably) won't get: Spoiled white kids like Hall don't know what it's like to work hard to turn something around.

Then I can't blame him , if I didn't want to work hard for something I'd probably go down to El Paso too
