We have Saturday off, but everyone else is in action. Some really big games this weekend. Blue Raiders/Toppers stands out, but that ASU/FAU game really interests me. I wanna see if the Red Wolves can keep this thing going against another team that is much stronger than expected.

MTSU

@ WKU

USA

@ Denver

ASU

@ FAU

UALR

@ FIU

ULM

@ UNO

Troy

@ ULL

With a USA win over Denver and a Troy win over ULL, we can move into a tie for 2nd place in the West... definitely very possible.... maybe the recently resurgent FAU can do us a favor and beat ArkState, which will put us 2 games out of first place (3 if tied with ArkState).

Damn what has happended to wKu ? I just turned on the game and they are down 55 - 40.

wKu has never lost back to back conference games and now are looking at losing 3 SBC games in a row.

Too early to issue the official upset warning, but ya may want to keep an eye on that ASU/FAU game. FAU up 35-28 at the break.

7 minutes left, still a 7 point lead.

Also, ULL up 12 on Troy at the Cajundome at the half.

And ULM vs. UNO is a barnburner... 21-13 halftime score favors the Warhawks.

I'd say that for an off night UNT had one of its most productive Saturdays. Damn near every result helped us tonight...save for the Denver win.

I'd say its still a 9 team race to the top, with 2 more, ULM and FIU, hanging around the fringes with their wins. We may not be the team we expected, but this last month and a half of conference play ought be damned exciting

Ah, I feel better now that we assumed in our usual position of middle of the pack in the SBC. It's felt kind of weird and uncomfortable expecting to win given all of those predictions of us taking the SBC championship
