Oh, no! What will SilverEagle and the other five listeners do now?????? :lol: You are correct, sir. What little actual decent broadcasting it ever did was far overshadowed by the sheer lunacy of the majority of it's broadcasting. Too bad, really. I see a place for a liberal alternative in radio, but not if it is simply going to be as loony as "Air Hate" radio was ninety-five percent of the time. And, yes, I did at times listen to "Air Hate" to see what the loonies were saying...made for some good comedy when I need a laugh. If MSNBC is not careful, it will suffer the same fate. None of it's anchors carry anywhere near the ratings of it's chief rival Fox News. And, I am talking a 300% difference in viewership at the best comparison...at times the difference in viewership is 800% plus!

This happened for two reasons -

1. Bad ratings.

...and...

2. Bad ratings.

It seems here at the end they actually got some folks on who were entertaining, though left leaning, and not just angry liberals like the network was always had historically, but I guess it was too little too late.

      Roth IRAs are good in that your investment gains are not taxable when withdrawn later. But you can only contribute $8,000/year max. A 401K is $30,000/year max. 401K plans are typically not run well with only average offerings and high fees. But private sector employees have little else to save and invest in for retirement. If an employer offers nothing, then what does that say about an employer? How much the employer spends on a 401K plan is public record. They spend surprisingly little. College football money has been manipulated in a similar way, with coaches & ADs receiving outsized salaries while players received little. This imbalance is the reason college football is in its current state.

      I think they lost 2 or 3 starters on offense but not their QB. That's a huge position to fill in 1 month especially when the backup has no experience. Losing a RB and QB are not the same. I haven't been one to talk about his decline since Tulane. I think that's just fans coping with his departure anyways. Our competition got better. That's my observation. I also did say a healthy Morris wins. Given a month to rest, I think he'd have done well enough overall to win. Then again, the offense regularly sputtered during the season as well. My biggest gripe as the season has progressed is special teams and 4th quarter decision making. Just never feels like our special teams are a weapon these days and we take too much unnecessary risk on 4th down. Hopefully that stuff is figured out by next season.

      We'll see... Texas State's offense put up 32 on Sam Houston and coughed up the ball once versus the 2 turnovers against us. I like what I saw in their bowl but I'm not sold on how that will translate against better competition.

      Great post. Also, I didn’t spend much time researching, but a very quick Google search shows that teams that played the bowl games without their starting QB were not successful. I believe USC and Louisville were the only teams to win with a back-up. UNT, Coastal, Tulane, Cal, Pitt, OU*, Duke, and Miami** lost. Not having your QB is obviously a big deal. From the little I’ve seen, we’ve gotten better publicity in a loss due to Mestemakers performance than we would have gotten with a win if Morris had played. The media absolutely loves the “hasn’t started a game since freshman B team” narrative, and are blown away by his performance***. *Hawkins started games for OU this year **Cam Ward played half the game ***thanks to those giving EM some credit for how Mestemaker played.
