Lincoln or not, does anyone really expect Dodge to relinquish control of his offense??? I'm sure he's smart enough to know this will probably be his last year and will go out doing it his way. If/when they hire an OC, he will be nothing more than a place holder. I don't understand all the hoopla over NT's vacant position............

Good for Lincoln Riley...good for Ruffin McNeill. Both seem like solid coaches and great people. Congratulations to both.

Don't get the hubbub over the OC position here. Really don't. Hard to imagine a more irrelevant coaching position in the country based on our current structure. Might as well save the money for next year's potential HC hire.

How much do you think the fact that Dodge is on the hot seat affects candidates decision to interview here? Knowing that next year Dodge could (and very likely) be gone. I would try all other options first personally and then interview at UNT as a last resort in that case.

Completely agree. Surely no one really believed that we were interested in him.
