Last night, the KERA Texas Debate was heald at the Murchinson on the NT campus. It was wonderful. The place was packed. I have never seen as many television news trucks as I saw last night. Dr. Batile welcomed the crowd and I got to speak with her before the debate started. In her opening speech, she stated that North Texas was neither red or blue. North Texas was green.

I was very proud.

I watched the start on TV and about half of it....not much if any UNT reference that I saw other than a very brief mention in the intro.
