First of all....if any of you are not at the Mean Green donation level to get into the Club before the game....please try to upgrade your Mean Green Donation for next season. What a great time it is.... Awesome FREE food and yes, FREE beverages! And, more importantly, a great time to meet other Mean Green Club Members! Met some new folks Saturday night, had great food from Ruby's Diner (have never been...but I am going now) and lots of fun.

And, weren't the kids fun last night! My kuddos to the parents, Scout leaders and the such cause most of them stayed the entire game!

Gosh, they had a good time. And, when the left you could see lots of cold drink cups and such left behind! That can't hurt!

Pep band was great last night...and every one was in GREEN. Thanks Gang!

And, we had some moments where it looked like we were getting back into the game. Injuries have taken their tole...but, JJ will bring the boys back!

It's was really a great time.... And, when we left the court before the end of the first half. All the WKU players and coaches were laughing. But, when we made the basket...those smiles turned to complaints! Lots of great moments. And, I know wins are around the corner!

Good point about the faith in JJ. I was thinking about this and I'm curious to read the responses. If this was football, chances are we all would be upset and again calling for the coaches head. Does the lack of venom posted toward the b-ball program come from a) what we saw last year on the floor cool.gif the lesson learned from being "patient" with the football situation or c) the injury situation played a huge role this year and thats why no one is that upset? Disappointed sure but not really going crazy.

Don't misread this, I am a big JJ supporter, I just like the way everyone is just going about their business here and looking forward to the future of the program.

I think it's more because JJ showed what he could do with a healthy roster last year AND basketball just isn't watched with the same passion by out alumni and students.

As much as I wish they interest level were more equal, it just isn't the case. The fact that the football squad is winning only multiplies the difference.

I used to observe Trilli and I have observed JJ this year and last. JJ is the MAN...period. There is no contest concerning bench-coaching ability. JJ appears to be a great teacher, he damn sure knows the game, he has assembled a super staff around him, he has all the makings of a super-recruiter (if you've ever spoken with him, you know what I mean) and we're damned lucky to have him.

I think the MG faithful are not restless because they see JJ like I do. Give him two more recruiting classes and we should be kicking ass in the conference. With injuries and defections, JJ is having to play youngsters before their time. Can you visualize a lineup that includes Davis, Erskin, Miller and Hopkins? Whole different season!

This reminds me of what DD went through. When you see JJ, give him a smile and a thumbs-up.
