I told my wife last night that I expected some of these guys to be among the first; according to this, 100 are there; another 800 soldiers will arrive tomorrow, a total of 5500 on the way, including 2200 Marines:

82nd Airborne troops arrive in Haiti

Let's send our hopes and prayers to all those serving in this relief effort and those needing help.

My brother was also a member of the 82nd! Best of luck to those guys and lets hope that they can help to ease some of the suffering that the people are experiencing over there.
