The "Blueraiderzone.com" board has several postings regarding the future of HFC Rick Stockstill,

and DC Manny Diaz.

With Skip Holtz going to USF from ECU, Rick Stockstill will be a prime candidate for the ECU job.

MTSU's DC Manny Diaz, has gained alot of attention too. Diaz will interview with Mississippi State

for their open DC's job.

Both coaches are very good coaches. The 10-3 season, the bowl wins, and good recruiting, has

both coaches gaining alot of interest from other programs. If Diaz lands the Miss St job, that

is big move up. If ECU goes after Stockstill, would the ECU job be a move up? Stockstill may

be in a better position at MTSU now. Stockstill did turn down Memphis this year, which was not

a hard decision to make. If ECU does come calling, Stockstill will have a tough decision

to make.

It looks like Stockstill has been offered the ECU HC job. Report: MTSU's Rick Stockstill is offered ECU job

However, I'm hearing rumors that the job offer comes with the stipulation that he retain most of the current staff at ECU. I'm also hearing that Tony Franklin, former Troy OC and current MTSU OC, may be headed back to Troy for their vacant OC position...and that move may not be dependent on the ECU move.
