It's interesting that his SMU history and his envolvement with the TT incident between his son and Coach Leach at TT leading to the firing of Leach would consider running for such an office.

Allan Saxe...asst govt professor at UT Arling he would have some good name recognition but has the Tech controversy hanging over his head...with 57,000 tech fans protesting Leaches firing I don't believe he will be successful in the Tech area.

Given his association with the discredited SMU football program, I think he would be a perfect politician. He knows where the money is and how to get it, even if it is slightly illegal.
