Who is that won't be posting for a year?

It's hard to keep track of those guys after a while. We should remember what Tommy Lee Jones character said in Lonesome Dove, "A man needs to be careful about what promises he makes".

Did some research and found it. I'll miss you 97 and 03.

More importantly, I can still call Todge out on his dumb calls as we lose this year.

You can actually thank Rick Villareal for hiring him and actually keeping him here for a fourth year, well actually also Gretchen Bataille as well since she didnt intervene as she has no clue what goes on in College Football.

I bet this thread makes Q's monday recap. Now we need Playmaker to wager on the seven wins TD has to come up with next season? I dont think we see that bet...

Coach Briles, dont start thinkin crazy? No one moves from Waco to Lubbock? "COME ON MAN"... just wait for us please? Hold on for one more season.

I'm kinda like Mack Brown that way. Anyone remember him calling a timeout to kick a field goal against us, UP 30 pts or so, in the FIRST half a couple years ago? And he wasn't even trying to ice a national title game.

For UNT to actually win seven games next year and be bowl eligible and prove EVERYONE wrong, I'm totally down with not posting on GMG for a year if my MEAN GREEN can accomplish that feat. I'd exchange posting on this site for a year if we can pull seven wins, it would be remarkable.

Don't forget about the fake punt either. 2006, Colt's first game, I was there and acted like we won the BCS title when Woody Wilson threw that touchdown pass. It saddens me that they fumbled the opening kickoff and Zach Muzzy recovered it inside the 20. 3 plays later after not advancing the ball at all, Hopovac had a field goal blocked. Difficult to watch at times.

      I understand that his decisions to go for it on 4th down so much or not to kick FGs or play the field position game are bad decisions. Just playing Devil's advocate. Could it be that those decisions stem from a lack of confidence in the defense? It feels like he believes he has to score TDs on every possession to win because the defense will not stop anyone. So, that takes me back to he should have never kept Caponi after year one.

      I went to the game, again we started slow and accelerated in the second quarter outscoring ACU 27-12. We let them back in it and the lead got down to three points twice. But we went on a game-sealing 11-0 run to take a 66-52 lead as Lampkin took over. One of ACU's starting bigs went out late with an apparent back injury. She's from Bixby, Oklahoma, which is where I've gotten my only speeding ticket, so maybe she deserved it. As for the arena, it shares the same name as SMU's (Moody Coliseum) and looks like a carbon copy of TCU's (albeit half the size). Recently renovated and very nice. The ACU men hosted TXST shortly after. Which we could get some better men's/women's doubleheaders and on the weekend to help boost the ladies' attendance.
