Don't know about strollers, but if the team keeps losing they are planning to personally escort fans to their seats by meeting them in the parking lot.

I hope this is win is just the begining of something great. I hope this team is awake now.

Still need Eric back to be able to beat most teams on the road IMHO. George is getting into alot of foul trouble trying to hold down the interior by himself.

Knox played a lot of minutes, even in the first half. It makes me nervous, because I worry it's a sign that Tramiel may not be back for a long time (if at all). Also because he's always looked tentative and unprepared when he's gotten minutes before.

He was getting shoved around at first, and I don't think he scored. But he looked much better during his second half stint. He and Holmen worked pretty well as a team. Second half, Knox was defending well underneath, rolling off to block lanes... I don't mean to insult him, but he finally looked like he could be a player out there. Also, he has a tattoo across the front of his shoulders- something in cursive that I couldn't read. Maybe he's a big fan of "Memento".

Anyway... If this is an effort to give him the time he needs to build confidence and contribute this year, it's off to a pretty good start.

Another thing- Alzee Williams looked very good playing against a press. Seemed like it was a problem for the entire team the past season or two until this year, so it merits praise when a freshman can come out and handle that sort of defensive pressure. He moved well with the ball, didn't seem to get anxious or hurried... Every time he plays, I feel better and better about our guard situation after next year.

I don't want to sound like some sort of vulture ready to pick the carcass of UNO's D-1 program, but if we had the scholarship to give, I wouldn't mind seeing Carl Blair come here after the season. UNO can only give athletic scholarships for the next two years as they go Independent before the drop to D-3, and Blair is a freshman. He can't finish out his eligibility or finish his education before the scholarship has to go away by D-3 rules. UNO athletes are free to transfer after this season because of the D-3 transition. Given the eligibility timeline, Blair is going to end up transferring somewhere, and whoever lands him is going to get a very nice player.

He's from Houston and apparently did a year at a prep school. 6'2" 200+ pound point guard. He looked good... Whoever snaps him up (maybe one of the other SBC schools in Louisiana?) will be lucky to have him.

I was both sad and relieved that I didn't get to see Billy Humphrey in person. Arguably the frontrunner for not just Newcomer of the Year, but also overall Player of the Year in the SBC. Hopefully I can see him play a game or two on the other side of the bracket in Hot Springs.

For the 1st time that I've seen , JJ really got all over Holmen. I think he knows that if we are to make a run , he needs Jacob to grow up and grow up fast. I think we all see the potential in this kid and if can shake of the timidness and get more aggressive he's going to be a hell of a player. He responded quite well after JJ got onto him so maybe it's a sign of good things to come

What was up with the Pit Crew all leaving at half ??
