As someone who gives a lot of money and who never misses a game, I am so let down with this

team I can't stand it. We haven't had a team with this much potential in a long time and yet

they are a bunch of wusses' (sp). We have about 2 or maybe 3 players that are determined

to win. The rest are just getting a free ride to a college eductation. What a let down. All teams

that represent a university have an obligation to do every thing in their power to represent

the University and those of us that follow them. This bunch of kids have no heart!. For those

of us that will be going to Hot Springs are probably wasting our money. I am tired of being

embarrased by the fooltball team and this bunch of "talents" that have no HEART. Hope they

enjoy spending our tax payer money and enjoy their vacation at UNT.

Kind of tacky to start off your post talking about how much money you give and claiming to be THE Super Fan.

Not to be the grammar police, but it is poor form to complain about these kids getting a free education, misspell the word and mangle your sentence structure in the process.

I grade this post a 3.5 out of 10. The vault was bad and you muffed the landing.

Maybe they haven't reached their potential yet but have you ever thought that the season is still young and they can still win the belt? Or maybe it is not that they don't have heart......maybe they are what they are....an average to below average team.

Have you ever thought about it??

Impossible. With as much money as he gives and as often as he attends games, this poster must know exactly what plagues this team.

Well, you must say that based on early season expectations, this team is at the moment severely under performing. Still can win the Sunbelt, but they need to find a way to get in sync and find their game before it's too late. It is fast approaching "too late", but as you know...all one needs to do is make the tournament, catch a hot streak and win it, and it's off to the NCAA's. So, I am keeping my fingers crossed that this team "finds their game" and peaks at the right time in the tournament. Can happen...keep the faith!

GO MEAN GREEN. See you at the game Saturday!

This is the MO with JJ teams. When he figures out how to get players to stop thinking about turkey, Christmas presents, and New Year's, we'll be a regular in the tourney and crack the sweet 16. Until then, we'll just be an above average Sunbelt team.

I love how people don't even mention that this poor play (well most of it) has occured without Tramiel. If you had said at the beginning of the year we would be without Hogans and DJ for the year, and Tramiel for the start of conference play, what would you expect our record to be? I think we are playing exactly how I would expect without those players (especially DJ and Tramiel).

Hey, I think JJ doesn't have a problem with people watching practice. Why don't you swing on by one day and share with the team your thoughts on their play and character?

Also missed Richard Thomas for one of those games.

I have always wondered how you measure heart in pro athletics. Clearly the starter of this topic knows. I would

like to know is there a formula? Please fill us all in.

Frankly, I would expect a lot more than what we have got so far. Have you checked out the records of the teams that are beating UNT. Also many of the teams that NT is losing to, like ASU, had more people out than NT. I am far from giving up on this team, but I also think the performance of the team has been very disappointing. Those 21 turnovers last night through about 2/3 of the game were mostly a result of just bad decisions not talent,. NT handled the ball much better down the stretch and played better defense and made a game of it, but it was a little late.
