Congrats to Bama for being the best team on the field last night.

Hate to see a career end like that for McCoy. Colt McCoy is one of my favorite college players ever. Tough break for him. Gilbert is going to be a good one, though. Lot of fun watching him literally tossed in to sink or swim. I was impressed that the game was within a field goal with 3 minutes to go. Texas never quit fighting, and that's all you can ask for.

What if's are great, but they don't matter in the end. Hats off to Bama.

I would have liked to see the game played without the injury. McCoy had Texas buzzing then it was like all the life was sucked out of them with the injury. The new kid was thrown to the wolves but did well in the second half until the blitz/fumble killed the comeback. Blitzes will do that (I wish NT would learn to apply it). I still believe a $90 million athletic budget nearly guarantees this game for UT every 3-5 years. Is a college football budget cap on the horizon?

Texas - the #1 logo whore in all of college sports (and proud of it as they ahve the most money), should not be looking down their noses at a team fulfilling a sponsorship. That aside, REDNECKS!
