The guy took a 2-10 Idaho team and went 8-5 . They just beat Bowling Green in the Humanitarian Bowl, by going for a two point conversion with 4 seconds left in the game. He only makes $258,187 a year. If we tank next year, like many on this board feel we will, who thinks this guy should get an interview?

Seriously, I was impressed with Idaho and Coach Akey all year. Idaho has been in the cellar for several years, they then make a coaching change, and BAM! Bowl game victory his first year at the helm. Impressive.

That's an old bio , I guess Idaho doesn't update their website. He was hired in Dec of 06

If Wazzu tanks again next season under Wulff and Akey leads Idaho to another winning season, I think you'll see Akey move eight miles to the west. The guy's been recruiting the same vicinity since 1999...with great success, as Tom Hicks Voice would say.
