My wife wants to know if he's planning to take a hike on the Appalachian trail for his health.

This is very strange. He's leaving his OC in charge until he feels like returning?

Has he thought how this is going to affect them in recruiting?

Silver,

The man has heart problems. He also said he thought he would be back for the 2010 season anyway. I think this is a pretty good move on his part, and Florida will still get their recruits. The big boys have their's wrapped up long before now.

Ok, I'm glad he (and Florida) has an advocate on this board. They soooooo need to have someone on this board to to look after their honor.

The whole thing is a bit "drama queen!" Good gosh all you have to do is look at Joe Pa and ask him how he has somehow survived the 150 years of college football stress. Imagine if Urban was having trying to win at South Carolina, Mississippi State or Northwestern. Me thinks he doesn't want to coach without his Robin urrrrr Tebo.

health first but imagine how stressful life is when you AREN'T following your passion. Love old school Joe Pa!

Better not jump to the "honor" conclusion so fast. He might be carrying Tiger's baby!

Which is it, though? On Saturday he had health problems so pressing that it was the right decision to quit Florida entirely and his daughter had her daddy back. On Sunday his health problems required a leave of absence but he'd probably be back for the 2010 season and his daughter was SOL.

Meyer should do what's right for himself. But this instability seems like it will kill them in recruiting. What top blue chip prospect is going to pick Florida while Meyer's status is an open question?

Urban Meyer is still a young guy so I am sure he definitely wants to keep the idea of coming back to UF open. However another part of me says do you think UF and Meyer changed the story because of recruiting purposes? I wouldn't be surprised if this was mainly because of recruiting.
