4 of the 5 are 3 star Rivals recruits.......that sounds good. We definitely need DBs and LBs. I was hoping we'd sign a DT or DE in the mid-term signing class.

And maybe we will.

Anyway, this is a pretty good start......

Five recruits is a nice haul. I would agree if you can add a few d lineman and maybe one more rb, the class would be complete.

Keep em coming Dodge and Co.

the fifth is a 5.4, .1 away from being a 3-star.

From an earlier Rivals story about Forlando Johnson:

Linebacker Forlando Johnson started out as a four-star prospect, but a knee injury and inconsistent play this season lowered his rating to the three-star level. But Flores said somebody is still going to get a good player out of the 5-11, 205-pounder.

I presume this is the same Brad Graham....as a high school player. Check out the closing speed. Plus, he must be very strong as several times he brings guys down just with one hand:

Kicked off the team in April for an undisclosed rule violation.

iPods? Guns? Drugs? Stolen Debit Cards? We are from the hood? Bring it on!

Jucos often come with baggage. Just the facts. Fortunately, that often fits right in around here, and keeping a coach under an ultimatum guarantees you a Juco bonanza, and a much higher tolerance threshhold for off the field junk, especially if a guy can contribute - as if it wasn't already. Hang on tight..... Moral standards - IT'S WIDE OPEN!

Sure, it's tumultuous and I wish his posts were more successful... But this journey is going to make Carribbean Green a better husband and father someday.

Exactly. When it's all done, I'll have bleached my hair and learned how to be a good man above all else. That's what matters, regardless of the success rate of my posts or my rap sheet down at the pokey.

As for the original misguided shot across my poor, beaten bow - Not once did I mention anyone by name. Making a general comment about the risks of jucos (which has been made a thousand times before by a thousand different people) considering my fear we're forced to essentially mortgage the future and roll the dice on them at this point. This was peppered with several recent GMG crutch-jokes about various confirmed and speculated incidents in recent years, one of which (iPods and Guns) is currently a running theme on multiple posts. Again, all in context with the board - as is the juxtaposition to the "Todd Dodge is the cleanest God-fearing coach in the country" mindset that lurks around here at times. Nothing to do with an individual. Good grief. Oh, but since you ask if I ever get tired of slandering an individual I've never met or heard of, I'm curious as to your list of the frequently slandered at my hand - I only take the time to slander the ones I know and love, sir.

Who have signed.

We have an entire recruiting forum that could prevent such questions.

Are you suggesting that Cerebus should have checked the positional listing for more information?

Recruiting is "not" over......however.......I am impressed with the current committments and the others that Coach Dodge is going after. To me he and his band of merry men are competing to get the best. We can only wish all the recruiters good hunting.
