It's 30%, right? Off the top of my head, aplayer can play in up to 30% of the season's games, but no more.

In a 29 game season, that would be 8.7 games.

This is game 11 for UALR out of 29. 38% of their season has elapsed. If the redshirt threshold is 40%, they can try to get him back for next year. Anything below that, and they're screwed.

Hopefully he's okay and this isn't how his career ends.

Really too bad about Mike Smith...I watched most of the game (even got my local pub to put it on the tele) and I was amazed by how much weight Smith has lost...he would've been a force in the SBC this year. Hope he can make it back this season.

A bigger overall concern for UALR is getting out-rebounded by 12 by a significantly smaller team.

ULM's loss really isn't that bad...Northern Colorado is 9-2 with wins at Hawaii, Air Force and Montana. Pains me to say it, but the Big Sky is probably on par with the SBC this year and this is a case of one of their best beating one of our worst.

I had the sound off at the time, and I didn't even realize it was him until I saw the #32 jersey when he rolled over.

He looks like half the man we saw in Mobile. Literally.

USA is got some athletes! Those two freshman will give the SBC hell for years to come. Gary Redus (Damn, he looks like his Dad) is really fun to watch. We should be able to dominate both teams on the boards. UALR is still tough, even without Smith.
