There will ALWAYS be something more important than this. Is that a reason to ignore it? Its not like they're getting anywhere with anything else. May as well do good somewhere in an area that most people can agree on. The BCS is complete bullshit.

Gee, they can't call it a National Championship game anymore. Way to get tough. I'm sure it is really going to hurt them to call it the BCS championship, while the media and others out of the BCS's control, continue to call it the national championship game.

A worthless waste of time, bur what else should we expect from congress these days.

Anti-trust legislation to force a playoff will never come from congress. Why? The BCS schools have plenty of money to pay off (in Washington, they call it lobbying) congressmen to block any such legislation.

Someone needs to file a lawsuit against the BCS and get the long, tedious process of eventually getting this before the Supreme Court, as this is the only realistic path to get this thing changed.

Of course there are bigger things in life, but I am not going to complain that they are trying to do something about this.

BCS executive director Bill Hancock said, "With all the serious matters facing our country, surely Congress has more important issues than spending taxpayer money to dictate how college football is played."

So your certain there are more pressing needs for this country's leadership to worry about, yet you and your associates saw fit to spend over $300,000 in lobbyist fees and tying up the legislature's dockets to make sure it remains going your way?
