Title game will be a snoozer. 10-7.

agreed.

and if this game had been Florida and Bama, everyone would be jerking off about what a great defensive battle it was. Fact is, Nebraska has one of if not the best D in the nation. Texas has a pretty good one, too.

Why do announcers always say the game is a " defensive struggle " when calling low scoring games ? Doesn't make sense to me. Shouldn't it be a " offensive struggle" ? I've never understood this

If this game had been Florida vs. Bama, it would have been two teams that weren't sparing the world to death for 3.5 hours.

I abhor the Emmitt UT-loathing and am happy for the wife I guess, but Texas has no resume to speak of this year save where they were ranked starting the season.

I don't really have any idea how good or bad any of the Big 12 is this year, including Texas. It was so inconsistent all year, it's hard to figure. I imagine the bowl games will tell us more, since the Big 12 plays a few SEC teams. Texas will have its chance to make their statement. Oklahoma State plays Ole Miss and A&M gets Georgia.

USC was the greatest team in the history of college football back in 2005. A Texas QB finished second in the Heisman race, losing to a RB playing for their Rose Bowl opponent. Interesting how its all playing out.
