I'm going to start a topic. And I have a serious question.

How does this "okay, will give you one more year to see what you can do so you better perform" ultimatum affect recruiting this year? I assume you sell the school and the program, not so much the coach. But I would also think the Tulsa's, SMU's etc of the world absolutely use this against us.

I would not expect much from this class.

I truly hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see any momentum or excitement that we can sell to recruits or potential donors/season ticket holders. What can we possibly say to hype next season: "No, we really, really mean it this time. Things will be different next year!"

Maybe I'm just being negative because I haven't fully recovered from the 0-27 start against ASU.

It probably means a class that is juco heavy. Because in our current situation, it'd be easier to sell a guy into thinking that you could be his coach for the next 2 years. The next four years, is not so easy a sell.
