Has anyone else noticed that for the past few days TFLF's posts have not been followed by 5 or 6 posts ripping him for being a terrible fan and alumni and that his constant negativity is hurting the program?

Days...try years! :P

Free your *ss, and you're mind will follow. Many people here get too close to the situation (coaches, adminstration, player's families) to remain objective. And, speaking as someone who remains objective, I recognize that there are dozens and dozens of coaches out there who would take a pay raise and a shot at being a head coach for us (or for some, a shot a redeeming their reputations as quality head coaches).

I believe we have something good to sell in UNT. I'm convinced that Rick Villareal did not in 2006, and that's why he called down the road to a high school coach. And, then, to add insult to injury, allowed him to hire many coaches who were also high school coaches...as well as one straight out of the business world. That's not doing your best to legitimately find the proper coach for my alma mater, in my opinion. If that makes me a bad fan, then I sincerely hope we have thousands more like me who care enough to object to half-*ssing the program.
