Guyer-ryan Playoff Time, Site Set

Ryan and Guyer will meet in the Class 4A Division I Region 1 final on Saturday after both teams won regional semifinals over the weekend.

Ryan beat El Paso Chapin 61-21, and Guyer beat Abilene Cooper 57-34 to advance. The regional final will be played at C.H. Collins Athletic Complex at 2 p.m.

It would be nice if these two teams are just as good two years from now. It would be nice to get high school playoffs at Eagle Stadium.

Was there for the 1st one , will be there for the second one. It was sad though , I sat by a big time recruit's mom who told me her son never got a look , call or letter from UNT. She doesn't know if he would have stayed in Denton , even though he is a momma's boy , but she said he would have at least thought about it. Now he is choosing from more than a dozen BCS schools
