Can't be true....takes at least 4 yrs to turn around program....SMU should only have 1-2 wins this season.

First bowl for the Ponies in many, many year. At least NT has been to four since 2001. Just need to end our recent drought.

Good for them. Someday NT will stop basing everything on a comparison to SMU.

I don't suppose anyone cares that in Sunday's DMN, Jones was quoted as saying SMU progressed much more rapidly than he had anticipated. He appears to have thought they would only get five or less wins this year when the season started.
