I didn't make the 1.5 hour drive in the snow to watch MTSU beat the crap out of NT tonight, but I can watch Saturday's game against WKU live here in Bowling Green. There was an advertisement in tonights paper.

If you have not seen Patrick Sparks play, I can promise you it will be worth the price of admission to see this kid.

Hope to see a good turnout Saturday night!

Sure, I'll trade with you. It has snowed about every week this year including 2 inches tonight. It was 10°F yesterday and -1°F about two weeks ago.

I like Bowling Green a lot, but I miss UNT football games and the warm weather and the endless things to do.

WKU is growing and so is Bowling Green. Not a bad place to live if you are a WKU fan and don't mind a little snow and a lot of boredom.

We will welcome you back anytime.

GreenEggs, we just need to get you converted to a Hilltopper. I am sure I could get you some extra tickets for a game in Diddle.

I agree, Bowling Green is a fantastic place to live. I would never live anywhere else. The snow isn't that bad, and while it can be boring sometimes, Nashville is one hour south, and Louisville is hour and a half north.

BTW- we do have a National Champion football program here in Bowling Green.

You just need to become a Hilltopper!

Bowling Green is a great town and a football National Championship is something no place in Texas can claim right now. Heck, if Marcus would have been healthy this year.....who knows???

I work in automotive, so I probably will stay here until I retire. Might as well be a Topper fan; except when the Mean Green are in town. smile.gif

That's right, remember your roots...you're an Eagle. smile.gif I might as well be Trojan or Bruin fan since I'm surrounded by both in mass quantities.

You can only go to the Corvette museum so many times, I suppose cool.gif

It's a must-see while traveling through...right on the Interstate. The town of Bowling Green and WKU itself didn't appear to be all that bad, sorta reminded me of a smaller Champaign-Urbana circa mid-late 80's. smile.gif
