Suggestion

Recommended Posts

Some of you need to find a place in your homes, open up a Corona, and relax. But, stay away from the keyboard and the general public tonight.

(1) We lost to another injured team that was reeling from losses...yes, that's true. But, didn't we all half expect it?

(2) Chase Baine didn't make the trip, Riley's arm was broken, and Nate's was separated (or something). Running the Wildcat instead of putting Thompson in would have been a disservice to the seniors on the team. Yes, even as few of them as there are, Dodge did what he could to keep competing to the end. A big, strong-armed Thompson was the thing that was going to give us a shot at winning this thing in miracle fashion, not snapping it to some tailback. I fault Dodge for many decisions over the past three years - this definitely isn't one of them.

(3) Rick V will make a decision, then we'll live with it. Until then, man up with your second (or third) favorite team and enjoy the bowl season.

BUT, FOR PETE'S SAKE QUIT RE-HASHING THE FINAL TWO MINUTES OF THE ARKANSAS STATE GAME!

Overall, I agree with you, and besides, I had family obligations that prevented from listening to those two minutes. I gave up after going to the car and hearing about Tune being sacked on 3rd down at the 5 with us 10 points down and little time left. If I hadn't come over to this board and read all the controversy, I wouldn't have been reminded again that we have a Derek Thompson, much less have known that he can sling the ball and put points on the board.

But overall, I see your suggestion as having some potential for preventing further implosion of the Mean Green Nation.

Sanity on the board at the end of a losing season? I didn't think it was possible. Nice job!
