The man can coach, the man can lead, the man can motivate, the man can recruit, the man can be a roll model for his players. He already has all the talents to coach at this level and win. Arm chair, Monday morning QB's have never impressed me. My support for Coach Dodge is one based on what my son has to say about him, not how much he plays for him. He believes, I believe, pretty simple, while others have the option of waiting until the game results are in to make their coaching calls, he makes them on the spot, might use an extra time out to get there, lol, but makes the right call. I'm sure changes will be made during the offseason, might be a bit surprise at some of them..........

Sorry, Mr. Mosley. I respectfully disagree. The man can't coach at this level. There's no shame in that, and it hurts our program to stay in denial. I believe only one head coach has successfully made the jump from high school head coach to college head coach.

College coaches often wash out going up to the NFL as well. It happens. I wish Dodge the best, but he is not cut out for the college ranks.

No ones in denial here.

If only there was some kind of fund one could give to help with these costs.

$700k for a new coaching staff seems worth it.

UNT can't afford to keep Dodge. He's proved he can't hack it at this level. One more season on Dodge means opening the stadium with a new coach.

Get Dodge out of the way and get a new guy in there to start turning this thing around so we can make some money on the new stadium.

I agree that he's proven he can't hack it at this level . . . yet. But someone could have said the same thing about him at the high school level before he went to Southlake and brought them unprecedented success.

Call me an too rational, but if our backup RB, who we all agree has not been fully utilized, still believes and supports his coach, I'd be remiss not to support him as well... TD will do what is seldom done because he still has all these players believing in what they're trying to accomplish... Mark my crazy words, put it in your signature... TD will be back next year and we win at least 6 games finishing at .500 or better...

We go 8 or 9 wins our first year in the new stadium.... We give TD a raise and more money for coaches and he re-ups for multiple years...

The last 30 years the way I see it. I agree most posters are here for life, look how the last 30 years of it has been. You got a coach and AD here now who can change the way this university is looked at for a life time.

while i agree dodge is a fine person and role model the program needs donors and fans right now as we build and must pay for and fill a new stadium. that can only happen with fans having confidence in the teams direction and potential of winning if they attend. if dodge was .500 over the three seasons and building momentum then i agree we let it roll on. 5-30 and strong feelings it will soon be 5-31 is not the right direction. he may have already changed the way our program is looked at from the outside.
