PAC is ahead of AAC for sure, especially when it comes to hoops. While I like where we are now, ACC departures make us extremely vulnerable and would have us in CUSA 2.0. If we’re able to join the PAC, we run and don’t look back. I think our student body and alumni base would appreciate the names we would be playing, the increased media exposure in the PAC.
This is where college football will get it wrong. You will always have Bison Pony Bronco Lobo Hokie Ram Golden Eagle Bobcat Green Wave Miner and Mean Green fans that will care more about these programs than they will about Geaux Longhorn Rocky Top Buckeye Nittany Lion Trojan and Duck. Across the course of a season who are you watching and where are you socializing? It’s not in front of the TV. It’s at those stadiums. For the playoffs, perhaps.
Every week these fans are in Denton, Hattiesburg, El Paso, Fort Collins, New Orleans, Albuquerque, Reno, Fargo Fresno, Helena and San Antonio. You’re automatically slicing out huge swaths of college football fans with a big boy focus.
To me it’s not sustainable because it won’t be rich enough for the big dogs (SEC Big). The 12 and ACC are in limbo. Perhaps you have the development of 3 distinct leagues but even then the hard cores follow those leagues first all others after.
I love college football.

My other thought is that this could be a trick question and they are all North Texas lol!
Now if they had Michigan State green that would have been the darkest.
Go All Green!!!!!
