I'm glad that the cadet parachute team will get to jump. I think they've only been able to deliver the game ball once to a home game this year -- we've had lots of rain and/or overcast gamedays at West Point this year that prevented them from jumping.

I was just wondering. Have the Army veterans of IraQ/Afghanistan who are going to be attending the game been advised of Boomer? Someone who hasn't attended North Texas games might think that it doesn't make too much noise, but Boomer makes a BIG NOISE and the concussion can be felt over much of the stadium. Boomer can be both surprising and unnerving for someone who hasn't been exposed to IED's.

Just wondering.

We fire multiple cannons at football games at West Point -- one small one inside the stadium and several big guns outside -- at kickoff, at each Army score, and at the end of each quarter.

Once the Army fans here yours the first time, they'll feel right at home.
