Man will this blow up if this score is remotely close. I do think it could be bad.

The most Army has scored this year is 27. The most they have given up is 35. So, I'm going to be the optimist and say...

North Texas 31

Army 24

This game could be lower scoring than people think. I'm hoping this is not a repeat of Navy, as Mendoza had horrible schemes to try and stop the option! DeLoach and his staff will have a good scheme, and it'll be just a matter of executing. Plus, Army's defense is good and they don't have quite the athletes (typically) that Navy normally does.

If Army shuts down our offense, we have problems.

My issue is how well we slow their running game. It will also help that most of their scoring drives are fairly methodical and little things like holding penalties and false starts hurt them a lot more than spread teams. I'm picking 41-34 Army with my brain and 45-31 NT with my heart. The loser gets torn out of my body.

I think the predictions for UNT at Oklahoma state for Saturday is on another forum.

I love the idea that we are in a 92-92 game in the second OT, score first and go for two for no good reason. It will be like Ohio never happened!
