Former Unt Coach Resigns

SEGUIN, Texas -- Texas Lutheran coach Dennis Parker has resigned and will step down Monday following the final game of the season.

Texas Luthern (0-9) plays at Mississippi College on Saturday. Athletic director Bill Miller said the school looks forward to moving the football program "in a new and successful direction."

Parker was 6-23 at TLU over three seasons and currently has a 12-game losing streak. Parker previously coached at North Texas.
