Gee, poor Taylor Swift. Kanye West was sooooooo mean to her that she now gets to host SLN. Would have never happened until the "incident". She just didn't have a big enough name. She does now.

Yeah, she still would have been big enough to host SLN. She's freaking everywhere - you haven't been able to flip by 102.9 or any country station for over a year w/o getting pounded by her. She did a spot on CSI last year, is the main feature in the Band Hero promos.. she's pretty big.

Looks like that Kanye thing was quite the coup for her publicity manager. She walks away with Entertainer of the Year while opening concerts for bigger acts. I've seen her live, fairly average (I took my neice, OK!).

On the results as a whole, just another reason that Nashville continues to lose the Texas market to local artists. Pretty much every singer who won an award is more pop than country.

The whole incident was staged......This is MTV we are talking about.

Also, why is it when Kanye interrupted her, she just stood there frozen and MTV quickly pulled to commercials without allowing her the chance to continue with her speech.

Also she appears immediately from backstage when Beyonce calls out her name, ready to pounce on stage.....
