There is no question North Texas can score, but the defense will have to limit the damage for the Mean Green to win. Expect another high-scoring affair for North Texas, but once again this team should find the win column.

Curious. How does a vintage P-40 with Flying Tiger markings = Warhawk ? Doesn't compute.

Just like a Mustang was the P-51 the Warhawk was the P-40.

The list goes on the:

Corsair = F4U

Bearcat = F8F

Lightening = P-38

Hellcat = F6F

Wildcat = F4F

Texan = AT6

      PAC is back

      Great encapsulation of our strengths! Nice to see that all pulled together. Maddening that our history of middling football hires is the reason we’re not at the forefront of the current round of conference shuffling discussion. All the more reason myself and others were advocating for a “surer bet” as HC with some skins and name recognition this past go around. Especially given what we’re capable of paying.

      Morris needs to own the Caponi hire

      I can appreciate your optimism. For me, Caponi has got to go. That guy will not grow. Last year against LaTech, we come out in a four man front, hold LaTech down and we score offensively and get a sizable lead. He inexplicably switches back to the 3-3-5 and let them back in the game and we have to win on a last minute FG. That tells me he is hard headed, cannot adjust his defense to what is thrown at him, and will not grow.

      Week 4 Depth Charts

      Looks like Landon Peterson is back at RG. Seemed like we were pretty good at pass blocking in game 1. Hopefully, we can break away from the game plan of throwing at or near the LOS so often, but downfield instead. Also excited to see our transfer RB play. I thought he looked decent last game. Big game today. Hope we got a lot of things corrected. Hopefully they learned a lot after being humbled.
