I thought his interception was the key to turning the game around. If you watched any of the scrimmages you know he seemed to have a great ability to read where the ball is going, then the ability to close on it. He seems to be one of the fastest LB's we have now. Hopefully we get to see him in the starting lineup from here on.

Yup that is when my heart started beating again, and then the safety helped it stabilize.

I kinda felt like the defensive intensity picked up when AK-47 took the blatant late shot on their QB.

By the way, I believe Phillips' 6 tackles and interception all came in the 4th quarter.

I've gotta give more cred to my adoptee K.C. Obi for his sack and forced fumble. He closed so fast on Jakes...I hope he can add a few pounds if they're planning on keeping him at end.

True, and the greatest thing is he's a true freshman. There are a lot of young guns making plays for us out there. Gives us a lot to look forward to for the future.

He's probably one of the most built players on the squad. Give him some time with Char and he will be a solid starter in the years to come

Yes he was very impressive he is gonna be huge for us !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not sure if he came in because of injury or someone not getting job done but the game changed when he came in.

He came in replacing Kylie Hill, who was injured in the game. His upside is tremendous and he is being groomed to take the position over next year. He has been compared to Cody Spencer and Brad Kassell. Considering him, Obi, Dunbar and Carey (just to name a few), we have some really nice players for the future.
