For those Riley fans all he did today was rush 15 times for 70 yds, (3 rushing TD's) completed 24 of 30 yds for 262 yds...a combined total of 332 yds in one game., Don't know how many passing TD's yet.

Lance Dunbar continued with another excellant game...rushed 23 times for 227 yds including a 71 yd TD.

Gilmore finally iced the game on 4th and 1 with a 7 point NT lead.

It was sure scary early on but NT hung in there and probably scored 68 points, I believe to be a NT record.

Now if the defense would only play like they did in the 4th quarter.

Liked that they moved Gilmore to DE for the game, AK-47 when under control is good. Keep DeLoach on the field to get in faces. Cantly seemed good, Phillips did well for an injured Hill.

Riley played and error free game and watching replay on bigger screen, he moved well. Dunbar is just a stud.

The 68 points did tie the Fouts Field record set against Youngstown State back in 1957.

The worst team in college football ran for 281 yards against the North Texas defense. It felt like 481 yards.

The regression of the defense and special teams are a HUGE concern for next year.

When a coaching staff doesn't know what they are recruiting offensively in their first year of recruiting (which they have admitted to) and they are offensive minded coaches what convinces anyone they knew what to recruit on the defensive side of the ball? Then you change coordinators and probably another poor defensive recruiting offseason, throw in a key defensive player loss and we have what we are seeing. Yes it will be bad next year, regardless of who is coaching.
