Her 2 nephews just died in a house fire when left alone ( ages 2 & 3). She has no regrets and needs to get in there to find her purse & food stamps.

Unbelievable. I can't imagine thinking that way about someone else's 2- and 3-year-old nephews, much less my own.

This woman's attitude about two young children doesn't surprise me one bit. I see it every third day and why I try and remind the rest of you who do not deal with this kind of mindset what it's really like out there these days. So many people do not care for ANYTHING but themselves. It's all about "me" and what are you going to give to me or do for me. Nothing else matters but me, not even a child.

My wife sees this kind of attitude from parents toward their children regularly at the public school she works at, as well. Pitiful and infuriating.

If I ever left my child in a house by themselves and they died in a fire I would probably kill myself

It's a result of the entitlement mindset that has developed here in the US. God bless and keep those poor kids. You want to get me "negative"...this is the way! Jail time is way too good for this idiot.

Question is, why isn't her and/or her sister being charged with injfury to a child. Maybe she has? Don't know. I don't see the difference between this and leaving a child locked in a car in Texas during August.
