Tune can throw down field thus opening up the DEF. When Dodge is in nothing is going to happen over 15 yards , thus the DEF can play up and take more chances

Cam is a senior & no slouch. LD has grasped opportunity by the horns and run with it. Tune has an arm that Riley sorely lacks, IMO. This offense revolves around a true dual threat QB or at least Teflon Todd thinks it does.

Tune is the better QB and should be the starting QB

Dunbar is the MAN.....why was he the backup running back in the first place?

Congrats to the MG....they played their hearts out....thanks guys.

Dunbar is very good, but where is Cam? Seriously - is he hurt - he is not even the backup at this point.

No, you're exactly right. We ought to fire Todd Dodge now so that for the next 2 seasons we can talk about how we have to adjust to the new coaching system and then once that coach starts to show signs of significant improvement...which this season has been...we should talk about how we're not where you think we should be and fire him too.

Plus, if we time this out right we could be paying for 3 or 4 head coaches at a time.

Let me just play devils advocate here. Is Tune really the better option because of a superior arm? Could an argument not be made for Rodge because his wheels give the defense something to think about whereas Tune allows you to pin your ears back and come after a pocket passer? Did they both not move the ball last night? And shouldn't you want your youngster to get the PT when his arm strength can be worked on in the offseason?

As to Cam vs Dunbar I think we forget too easily how good Cam can be. Would cam put up similar numbers against defenses looking for the pass? And he's not a snail either...plus he's bigger. No doubt lance is more explosive but why sit your starter when "kid dynamite" (feel free to run with that) can be brought in as a complement?

Because he's our biggest offensive weapon?

Back to this Cam deal - where is he is at? I hear he is the backup, but in terms of RB's, your back ups go in for you a few times a game right? Cam hasn't seen anytime since Dunbar took over.

I thought our last QB was better, until he was run off to make room for the coach's kid.

Man, I can't help but wonder how Woody could've done running this offense. WW had an arm and jets to go with it.

Gives me a headache thinking about that. Why did he leave again?

Teflon Todd wasn't going to have DD's guy run his pride & joy. His guy was going to come in from the get go. I wonder what Vizza's up to nowadays? Woody didn't want to play DB and shunned offers from SEC schools to get a chance to play QB here.

I don't care if Tune has to wear concrete shoes and runs the 40 in 8.4. I think the Senior has earned his chance to be the starter. Let Riley learn and heal with limited playing time.

If Riley has a high ankle sprain then Tune will be starting for a while.

Is Deloach able to evaluate talent? I mean 40 points wins most football games, except when you give up 43. Riley or Nathan did not give those points. Oh, thats right, Deloach gets a pass because he has "skins" on the wall. Unfortunately those skins did not help us last night.

Cam has a hamsting injury...the ESPN 360 broadcast discussed it late (they didn't know it) last week, and proactively this week.

By the way, did anyone see the block that Micah laid to pave DCarey's first college TD. Beautiful.

I like Deloach a lot, but what the hell happened to our defense last night, and then our special teams?

FAU was running on us like Alabama, and FAU is no Alabama, did our whole defense have the flu or something?

I think if anything last night's game was on the defense.

The defense looked pretty bad on several of those drives last night, but... One of the TD drives started on our own 45. Another started on our own 41. The Field Goal drive started from FAU's 48.

When you're having a bad night, it doesn't make it any easier if half the other team's drives start with them within 60 yards of the goal line.

DeLoach doesn't coach special teams, he has enough troubles of his own.

DeLoach doesn't get a pass. But you must consider the fact that their offense basically started three of their drives with a short field. Also, which do you see more significant increase from last year to this year in: Defense or offense?

According to meangreensports.com, he's a junior.
