Yes I know he was our basketball coach and this is the football forum, but he's getting inducted into the North Texas Athletic Hall of fame this morning which starts today's homecoming festivities and is capped by the football game tonight.

It pains me that I cannot to be there this morning to shake Coach Gale's hand and tell him congratulations. Maybe this evening? Coach Gales loved North Texas and it hurt him when he was let go. He brought us our first trip to the Big Dance and I alway's think of him each basketball season. He was very receptive to anything the students came up with in the way of raising spirit on campus and very supportive in that way.

I hope he and his family have a great day today as the Mean Green Nation honors his accomplishments.
