I believe it was also mentioned on one of the MGSports chats last week. They're supposedly going to be blogging from practice again.

Steven B told me that the first practice for the men is Friday....and that they would blog from the Friday practices.

Any "activities" planned around the first practice? If not...what a shame and what a missed opportunity to get some mo building for the season. I'll wait...maybe something will be announced soon, right?

I don't know......that would be Friday night before a home game.....with all the stuff going on at Clark Park....plus this week we have the HC bonfire.

I believe Steven said that our men would practice at 5 on Friday.

What ever happened to the midnight madness green vs white game? Is that a thing of the past? If so, what a shame. I remember those games fondly from my time there.

The midnight madness thing was brought up to Jay Bilas on Espn last year, and he said the colleges stopped it because of liability issues of the students being out that late, and the drinking that took place before and after. The colleges did not want to be held liable for any accidents or other things as a result.
