Sun Belt football attendance figures continue to improve. Here are the attendance averages thus far:

Louisiana (2 games) 28,894

Muts (1 game) 28,105

Ark St (2 games) 22,349

North Texas (2 games) 19,510

Troy (2 games) 19,145

WKU (2 games) 18,932

FAU (2 games) 15,087

ULM (2 games) 13,470

FIU (1 game) 11,047

The largest crowd was 41,357 when the Cajuns hosted Southern. The smallest attendance was 9,330 at Monroe when ULM hosted Texas Southern. Nine of the 16 games have had attendance in excess of 20,000.

You are not kidding - probably 22K. Watching Nebraska and Mizzou is reminding me of that constant downpour - yet both team played way more crisp than what is on ESPN tonight. Betcha Army brings in about 26k.

Only if we start showing up to play all 60 minutes. Army will bring their crowd, no doubt. But I imagine what caused 10,000+ UNT fans to leave the MUTS game at halftime will keep a lot of them from coming back.
