Alabama's New Status

From USA today...3rd ranked Alabama received its first # 1 vote and inched closer to No 2 TX in the latest coaches's poll.

I'm of the opinion Alabama is the best in the land.

I'm also of the opinion Florida's got at least two losses in them.

I'm not sure what I think about Texas because I haven't figured out how good the Big 12 is (or perhaps more accurately, isn't). They could win all their games, just as easily as they could lose three of them.

Texas won't see another top 15 team (when they play them) this year.

They haven't had this favorable a schedule since 2005.

I also agree that Bama is the best team playing right now.

They do look dominant now, but we will see... I hope we can say that we were utterly dominated by the best in the land. We will see when the season is finished.

We would be just as utterly dominated by UT and would lose to SMU.

I don't think many opinions of Bama are as influenced by our game as the VT and conference games they've played so far. We'll see how they do in Oxford, though. As LongJim can attest, I way overrated that team.
