I start radiation treatments this week but will be on 360 and in spirit. Hope to make the next home game. Doubt Mean Joe will bne sitting behind me fot the next one. Fingers criossed - I fogot to get a picture.

I'll be there with the family. We're staying at the Marriott Residence Inn south of campus. It's relatively inexpensive, opened last year, has free breakfast, and is in a safe part of town close to the university and the Blue Dog Cafe. It's close to the airport and has easy access to the attractions south of town in New Iberia and Avery Island. Amenities include a pool, tennis courts, exercise room, business center, and free high speed internet.

For those of you looking for a room, try to avoid any of the hotels on Evangeline Throughway off Interstate 10. Yes, they are cheap, but they are cheap for a reason; they are old and in a rough part of town.

The Hilton Garden Inn Lafayette/Cajundome is the only hotel within walking distance of the stadium and has internet deals running for $99 through priceline, but parking is free at the stadium so there's very little benefit to booking so close.
