I watched that game on Game Plan (some of it). I thought they lost it....when after taking the 1 point lead with what 44 seconds left (or so)....they didn't have their kicker boom the ensuing kickoff. He sort of squibbed a kick that was picked up at the 20 or so....and returned to almost midfield. Either their kicker is bad, or their coach advised him to kick that way. Either way.....I knew when Toledo had the ball at their 48....with time for several plays...only needing a FG...I knew the game was over. And as you said....it only took them one play to take the lead.

I'll bet BSU wishes they had done a coaching search instead of promoting Stan Parrish.

Considering everything FAU had coming back and the momentum Cristobal was building in FIU, I would have thought "no way!" to these schools coming out thus far 0-fer.

Anyone paying attention to Idaho University? They knocked off Colorado State of the MWC and now sit at 4-1 in the WAC. I say, good for them. They've been down for several years now.

They've been on my radar...they sold out that game with a box score attendance of 16,000. Hope they get to go to a bowl this year.
