I wanted to mention this all week. I remember the game so well! I remember going over for the bonfire. It started an amazing run. Because of the strength of the SunBelt, I don't think that run will ever be topped. But, I have a funny feeling that Saturday will be special for the Mean Green Nation. I believe we are all in for a grand game for the green. And, who knows, history does repeat!

See y'all Saturday. I BELIEVE!

not to put any pressure on anyone but this is a make or break game for unt. it will determine the fate of this whole season. it could be the game that locks in coach dodge here or has fans wanting a change again.

If we want to win the conference this year I would agree, but no one expected us to win the conference this year. We were picked to finish dead last or next to dead last in the conference this year. Even if we win today, if we go on to lose the rest of our games this year it will not "lock in" Dodge.

I was at that game, and remember rushing the field(I had just graduated in August, but sat on the student side). We tried to figure out how to take down the goalpost, but we're kinda lost. :lol: I moved to LA acouple weeks later, and it sorta seemed like my leaving coincided with our meteoric rise as a program. You know, until we hit the skids about 4 years ago that is.

I was in the stands. Brought my nephew, who coincidentally enough, is now a student at UNT, the head tailgate cooker for Pointe Bank and texts me every 10 minutes to keep me updated.

It's about to happen again.

      Easy answer is Coach Hardaway not to get silly fouls. She rarely fouls out anyway so this should be an easy adjustment. I will say this, Hardaway may be one of the best if not the best point guards and ball handlers in the conference.

      UNT Head Coach Brittany Roth’s husband, Ben Roth, and their daughter were in the right place at the right time on Sunday December 22nd, and Roth was able to briefly save a life. Brittany Roth has been the head coach at UNT since 2017 and Ben Roth is a paramedic and firefighter in Plano. They hold season tickets to the Lions games, and Ben Roth told a Detroit Newspaper they try to make “four to five games a year as a family.” At the game on December 22nd between the Lions and the Bears, Ben and their daughter were sitting in club seats he described as “As close as you can be without actually being on the field.” That was when he noticed someone in a North Texas shirt, which was shocking as neither the Lions nor the Bears are based anywhere near Denton, Texas, the location of UNT.       He reminds a little of Lance. Cowboys would line him up in the backfield then shift to slot. No linebacker could cover him.
