This is why so many get turned off to college football. Yes we need a playoff. The powers that be are so myopic when it comes down to the real deal that the players are the one's who suffer most in this inequitable system.

Houston straight up beat OK state. Kicked their butts and won decisively. So how are they ranked lower. If it was the last game of the season and Houston beat OK state then it would be illogical to put them ahead. All I am saying is put them ahead now. If when OK state plays their superior schedule and they win out and Houston drops a game or two then rearrange the rankings but in a head to head contest who won? The hypocrisy of college football is amazing.

Playoff now--- each team has 13 games to play.

first 2 games are against non-conf. next 7games are against conference then you have 3 dates to figure out the playoff scenario. Top teams play each other and then a final "Bowl game" or the current bowl system with the top 2 playing in final bowl. You can work out the figures but say UNT wins Sunbelt then they play Big 12 winner. If UNT loses they play another loser from say Pac 10 If they lose that then play a loser from Mac... We win and play 3rd place team from Big East in a Bowl.

Also no top 25 until 4th week. I alone do the rankings to ensure fairness. Thank you...this does not need to be tweaked in any way. It is the perfect system and I am so mad Houston is one slot below the team they beat for no other reason than logic is not being used by a thinking human being. Also the corruption of the BCS and the Power conferences that need their opponents to have rankings to draw in better revenue dollars.

Agreed. There are some real pretenders in the top 10 right now. Houston's real test comes next week, can't wait to see how they do.

Im pretty Sure Houston had a harder strength of schedule as well. So I think which ever team brings in more revenue for a potential bowl is who gets ranked better.

I think people are waiting to see what UH does in the their third game of the season. If they can take Tech out at home, you'll see them jump in the polls and the media, etc will all hop on the the Coog bandwagon. If not, well it was a nice win and we'll see how they look at the end of the season.

I'll be at the game Saturday and I hope they can pull it off.
