Compliments To Jon Burkett

I don't know how many of you know, but a number of Mean Green Club members didn't get parking passes with their tickets. As soon as this became know, Jon and his staff started calling and asking us to check our packets. I was one of those who had not looked. Since the packet had been right every time since 94, I had no reason to even think there would be a problem. Jon asked if I could come up on either Friday or Saturday morning but I couldn't. I'm in the middle of getting an Executive MBA from Baylor right now since NT doesn't offer one. Don't get me started on that!

Jon arranged with the parking attendant to have the names of those who couldn't get there early on a list. I frankly didn't think it would work with the parking people but it did. In fact the guy smiled and told me he remembered my name since it was so unusual. I had intended to just pick up the remaining parking passes at will call. However, when I was picking them up and commented on trying to find an way to keep them dry all the way back to the green lot, the girl offed to mail them to me.

Customer service - the REAL secret weapon. THAT is what will keep alumni coming back for games.
