First, let me share with you the wisdom someone shared with me via text last night: "Holy ******* **** - we dominated them.' Now, I don't know what the priest who said my wedding vows was doing texting me at 2 AM, but the man makes a good point.

That was beautiful to watch - and listen to. A later than expected call back from a client held me up at the office, so I got to listen to half of the first quarter with sweet George and Hank calling the action. I picked up my wife on the way and she was forced to answer a call from her boss that was rudely cut off by my "we just got a three and out! Do you understand what this means?" yell as we sped down LBJ. Then, as we drove the ball right down the field for the opening score, I enjoyed the MGRN telling fans to pay attention because we were lined up under center at the goal line. I know George will rail about that "stupid internet culture" and how expectations can be a bitch, but that was a funny knowing nod to the fans.

One more note - when we were running out the clock, did anyone else notice BSU linemen and LBs turning away from the play because they were sick of getting hit? It was beautiful to physically break a team - hasn't happened in at least 5 years.

But hey, we're not here to talk about the past...oh wait, we are. I know it's Friday and I know we're coming off a victory that does not involve Western Kentucky, but why don't we go ahead and do the recap now?

Relive the game thread first. The imagery and emotions really pop off the page and you can watch an entire fan base collectively embrace the team and cast off their jaded skepticism. Wash it down with some nice crow.

Their may be 5-7 possible targets for special needs tutoring posting here regularly, but even this fan base new the key to the game - Cam and Riley Eagle1855's VY prediction wasn't spot on, but it was my favorite. Props to gangrene as well.

The BSU perspective:I n the end it was simply one game. One shit game… Moral of the story: don't mess with Scrappy.

The Mean Green had a lot to prove last night, but convincing Playmaker to buy in might be the program's turning point.

Throw the ball, Dodge! Just kidding, but if you're like me, you missed power running.

I'm really sick of Troy weighing down this conference.

Who would have thought the team in green embarrassing itself on national TV wouldn't have been us a few weeks ago?

New prediction: I happen to believe GreenP1 is a pedophile waiting to happen and if he's not, I'll take my lumps. Speaking of which, where's 2012 and Nautique? Despite the objections of some, the world needs naysayers, but it's good to stick around for bad and good times.

Either a bunch of people have trouble browsing for porn the old-fashioned way (by which I mean peep-hole in the women's locker room), or GMG had some good traffic last night.

Tobe's twats show that he is no penetrable pre-madonna(?)

F it, despite what I said last night, I'm joining you guys in Bama if the wife will let me. Beinga supportive high school sports husband sucks.

Fireworks of shame! FirefightnRick! Early fan exits! Free space! Dodge! I have North Texas thread topic content bingo just from this link alone!

One guy at TCU liked what he saw. For those of you who can't go a day without checking on SMU, get the lotion out, close the shades and read Stallion's praise. Oh, and don't forget ASU-love. If this was a homecoming king vote for mid-majors, we might make the court!

We have 9 days to do Ohio look-alikes - and be in a good mood while we do it.

Emmitt, why do you have to be so negative?!!eleven!! (Wow, I'm really kicking GreenP1 in the nuts today. Is this the end of a beautiful friendship?)

LongJim gets football way more than most of you. He'd never say that, but I will. (always punches self in crotch for misidentifying a great d-line push as a blitz in the 4th quarter last night)

Fox and Hound in Lewisville was a fun venue - despite the Longhorn flyers on every table. Also, Kram told me not to touch my wife's boobs - but we didnt even know we were looking at each other. We are truly star-crossed lovers (and I'm talking about all three of us.)

Our generation almost had their Austin '88 play. I'm glad we would won, but I would have enjoyed holding onto this story and YouTube clip to share with my children's children.

I'm going to raise the stakes here. Fill Fouts - or die of rectal cancer.

/Realizes I have to be at a wedding next Saturday

In all seriousness. I do appreciate these recaps. :D

Me too. Quoner will navigate the boards after every game and post all significant threads in one post with a short summary about every one so we don't have to sift through the bullshit. I like this.

So true. It was great to see us picking up 10 yd chunks when they knew we were running the ball. A great way to close out a game!

To me, it's the most beautiful thing in football. It's what the game is all about, really.

OL was the key of the game in the first half and the sloppy play of Page was the difference.

I don't expect Ball St. to win very many games.

Cam seems quicker this season and the holes caused by the OL were amazing.....Way to go Lefty...

Deloach called a good game but Ball St. sucked offensively....

It's apparent you aren't a fan of Deloach and I know you weren't a fan back when Deloach had this team in the top 10 in the nation defensively, but please give him a chance before dismissing his accomplishment. Trust me when I say that Deloach's second year after taking over a defense comes with marked improvement.

Based on Thursday’s big, big win it appears that the future is now in Denton. The SBC really needs a strong UNT football team and it appears that this year’s team will be capable of beating any SBC team so enjoy what should be an exciting return to quality football at UNT starting right now!

Again congratulations on the big win (with Troy falling on their faces the SBC really needed it) and beat Ohio.

Ball State's offense sucked thanks to D-Lo's defense :D
