It has been a while ..... too many opening games against UT, OU and LSU.

Looks as if we just escaped ESPN's bottom-10 list.

We went to the Pourhouse with our two girls and had to leave at halftime due to them being unmanageable. We turned the radio off on the way home because my husband said he had the game recording....

We get home and start where we left off in the recording and for farks sake it stops at 10minutes in the fourth quarter! Mother of baby Jesus are ya kidding me? We tried getting on here and no luck so I finally had to go to ESPN and I slowly looked at the scores through my fingers as if I were watching a scary movie. Once I started jumping up and down hysterically like I do at amazing shoe sales at Nordstrom's my husband knew we had won. Holy cow.....it IS like Christmas early. :)

      I would like them to be good enough to be Quad 1 but not too good to get Will Wade hired away because they're our only home game on the books for next year lol.

      UTSA Game Poll

      UTSA is 4-0 at home and 0-5 away for 4-5 overall. NT is 3-2 at home and 2-2 away for 5-4 overall. They haven't gone thru the 3 game gauntlet NT has. Homer says we'll win by 14.

      Around the League / UNT Opponents

      figure one main thread to keep track of how our opponents are faring. the AAC is off to a pretty strong start...overall record of 29-7. plus currently Oregon State, High Point and Utah State / St. Bonaventure are all 3-0 - Memphis (2-0) with two quality wins v. Mizzou and UNLV. they should be undefeated (though San Francisco isn't a gimmie) heading into a 11/25 game with UCONN. - UAB (2-1)...I thought their loss to Vermont wouldn't look too bad, but UV has two pretty ugly losses now. really intriguing game tomorrow 11/15 v. High Point - FAU (2-1) look tough...their loss was by 6 to UCF who already beat then 13th A&M. - the other undefeated teams, ECU (3-0), Temple (3-0), Tulane (3-0), Tulsa (3-0), Wichita St. (2-0) collectively really haven't played much of a schedule...best win is probably WSU over WKU...but they've made pretty light work of what's in front of them. Games of interest over the next week or so: 11/14 - Northern Iowa @ Wichita State 11/15 - UAB @ HighPoint ; Temple @ Boston College ; FAU v. Charlston and Liberty (11/16) 11/21 - Memphis @ San Francisco ; FAU v. Oklahoma State (3 day tourney...would play Miami or Drake next)

      Sure but how good is Charlotte? They beat Richmond who lost to Marist. Utah State's other D1 win is against 0-3 Alcorn State who lost to an NAIA school. Again too early to really tell either way.
