Will it be a repeat of last year? Will there be a huge upset? Will we play special teams like a normal college football team? Will the defense show some semblance of a real college defense? Will Coach Dodge prove that he is the coach to lead this team? Will R. Dodge be the quarterback that we all want him to be? Is the offensive line really as strong as we think? Do we have the receivers capable of playing major college ball? Can we stop one of the best running backs in the nation?

All of this will be dramatically answered in just under 5 hours, one way or the other. Most pivital game in the last 4 years. I'll be at F&H in Downtown FW, nervous as heck at about 6:25pm. Hope you boys in Denton have the same hopefully, nervous, dreadful, yet excited feeling.

Please, God, let the answers to all the above questions be in favor of UNT.

I actually hadn't thought of it that way till you said it. But it's true. It's time for this team to show something in this game. And that doesnt necessarily mean coming out victorious. I think it moreso means not going down 28-0 in the 1st quarter and end up losing 63-17. It's time for this team to at least be competitive. Lets not forget Ball State was 12-2 last year. They are a good team, a real good team.

I agree with you 100%. No more excuses of being young, inexperienced, etc. Ball St. is breaking in a freshman qb, new young lineman, "almost" new head coach. No more excuses. This is the time to show what the last 3yrs have been building for. NT needs to show something in this game.
