North Texas at Ball State: Grade C- (7:30, ESPNU)- Really wanted to give this game a failing grade, but the only thing mildly intriguing here is to see if North Texas is at all improved, like many are predicting. Plus there have been very few opportunities to see Todd Dodge’s failed Mean Green experiment. Still though, you’re an idiot if you watch more than 10 minutes of this game given the fact that ESPN has a superb 7:00 game and 10:15 game.

Typical Big 10 Media BS. Im Sorry but giving Navy vs. OhIo State an A- is crap. I wish people would get off the Big 10 train and go to a good conference. Let's be honest does anyone else get tired of seeing Oklahoma, Florida and some random Big 10 team every weekend? Their right saying UNT, may not draw in big numbers, but least when UNT goes to a bowl we know the favor will not be for the opposing team. And don't even get me started on this broadcaster blowout of BYU vs. Oklahoma. It will be closer than they think. Sometimes I wonder why they pay people to analyze games.

Those that can do...those that can't get PAID to make predictions. Snore! Unless you are wired into your local bookie, do you really pay attention to what any of these guys have to say? Some can be fun reads, but seems have some sort of team or conference bias that they really do not want you to know about, but which come through loud and clear to most folks. Anyway....I'd love to get paid to do that sort of thing and not have anyone take me serious either. Pretty much like at home with the bride.

GO MEAN GREEN!

Sorry, no it won't. BYU is really, REALLY slow. Saw BYU at TCU last year in person and the difference was speed. OU is even faster than TCU and will blow out BYU in a big way. That said, BYU's QB is very good and worth watching....he's just going to have a long day when he repeatedly can't find anyone open.

Back on topic.....a 'C-' is a wonderful grade for us at this point. No backhanded slap in that report....we were terrible and not worth watching last year. To escape an 'F' is a victory and shows that the Dodge name still resonates enough with people to at least get a passing nod....
